Saturday and Sunday, December 3rd and December 4th, 2011 from
12noon- 4PM at the Meadow Croft Estate located at 299 Middle
Road at Brown’s River on the Bayport Sayville border. The estate
will be decorated for Christmas in a Victorian/Edwardian motif.
There will be special exhibits of artwork, electric trains,
vintage clothing, wood carvings and Christmas specialties.
St. Nicholas will be there to see who’s been naughty and nice this
past year. All decorations will be raffled off. Please come to see

The
Suffolk Center on the Holocaust, Diversity and Human Understanding
will hold its fifth annual art exhibit, "Embracing Our
Differences," beginning on October 13 through October 26
in Heckscher Park, Huntington. Women Sharing Art member, Eileen
Palmer had her mosaic "Garden for Marcello" selected as part
of the exhibit. The exhibit, which is co-sponsored by Suffolk
County Community College and the Town of Huntington will show over
two dozen 16x12-foot banners, selected by art professionals to
best depict the spirit of diversity and understanding. A reception
and special program is to be held October 18 at 4 pm. From
November 7 through November 11 the artwork will be on display on
South Ocean Avenue in Patchogue in conjunction with the vigil on
the anniversary of the murder of Marcello Lucero. |

selected as finalists in The Long Island Museum's juried
photography exhibit- Eye on Long Island. 91 out of 400
artists and their photographs were chosen to take apart of this
exhibition that will be on display in the Gillespie Community Room
at the Long Island Museum in Stony Brook.

will be on display from August 13 through September 5. An

gardens and to provide events at

Island. There is a reception on Friday evening, May 27th from 5:30
to 7:30 pm. The show is exhibited until June 12th.
Julianna Kirk glass jewelry has been accepted into Gallery M in
Greenport and BJ Spoke in Huntington. Spoke has also been showing
my glass sculptures for a year now. Julianna Kirk is participating
in a grant as the guest artist teaching fused glass to Bellport
High school students in June. The grant was awarded to a high
school teacher through the South Country Arts Foundation.

Mother of Earth Day Celebration is coming this Friday, April
22nd to The Brickhouse Brewery from 6p.m to closing. It is a
collaborative effort of female artists, musicians, Crafts people,
and Artisans to represent their art work, businesses and passions.
On Earth Day, The Brickhouse will celebrate the women artists,
craftspeople, and the products that they sell at our midnight
market with two floors of music, vendors and art show.

Coachella 2011 International Exhibition of Photography. The
competition was held in California and it is sanctioned by the
Photographic Society of America. Four of her images were accepted
into the Color General Category. One of the images, "Heart of the

Bayport Heritage Association. Meadow Croft
is on Middle Road on the Sayville and Bayport line. There is an
admission fee of $5 for adults and $3 for senior and
children. This event is not suitable for children under the age of

beautiful cloisonne pendants on crystal clear glass! This 3-week,
8-hour workshop offers opportunity to move step-by-step from
original design idea to completion of one pendant holding pure
silver cloisons with enamel paints within the walls on a dichroic
background. All supplies, tools, equipment, and firings are
