Born in Belgium, Mireille went to art school at St. Lucas, Antwerp for jewelry design and graduated as a goldsmith from Technicum, Antwerp. Her love for detail is reflected in her watercolors, whether they are botanicals or whimsical fairy tales.

"Creativity shows in all aspects of life, In your home, at your work, in your relationship with people...Since I was encouraged by my parents from a very young age to express
myself through art I wanted to do something for children. I love when my work actively engages children's imagination, perhaps inspiring them to express their own art."

Mireille had an exposition of her work in the Bayport / Blue Point Library and donated work to "Splashes of Hope".
